After more than 20 years working in customer, shopper, and consumer insight, I kept seeing the same pattern

My background

I’m Damian Miller, founder of Intelligent Purpose

I’ve spent over two decades helping businesses understand customers and use insight to drive better decisions

I’ve held senior roles including Research Director and insight leadership positions, working with brands such as Waitrose, Tesco, M&S, John Lewis, and Krispy Kreme

Across retail, FMCG, hospitality, and service businesses

From global brands to growing founder-led companies

Throughout that time, my focus has always been the same

Helping businesses see their customers more clearly and act on that understanding

Reports get written. Presentations get delivered.
